The governor of the Rhamna Region and the president of the university have signed a partnership convention through which the university supports the development of the social, economic, cultural and territorial dynamics in the province of Rhamna. The convention.

The agreement specifies several areas of collaboration where the university engages in the local public policy such as :
* Strengthening the capacity of administrations and elected officials in the province in terms of management, finance, communication, collective intelligence, political science and territorial planning.
* Economic inclusion of young people (training, incubations, fablabs, etc.) in the fields of digital, agriculture and industry.
* Development of an environmental and urban planning charter for the province.
* Upgrade of rural areas of Benguerir (Oued Bouchane, Nezalat laadam) as emerging pilot centers with an integrated sustainable development approach.

The president of the UM6P participates in the 6th edition of the Paris Peace Forum, which takes place on November 10th and 11th under the theme: "Seeking Common Ground in a World of Rivalry". The President’s insights reflect the collective aspiration of UM6P to contribute meaningfully to the global imperatives through a lens of innovation and collaboration.

Mohammed VI Polytechnic University is a United Nations Climate Change Conference of Youth 16 Partner in acting towards Climate Action. In this regard, many consultation sessions at the university has led to write the first COY16 Youth Statement declaration in Morocco.
Also the university has selected a sustainable development ambassador student to participate at the COY16 in GLASKOW to reinforce the institution international advocacy related to world international environemntal policies.
