Name: Humbi

Brief description: Humbi is a short-form, video-sharing app that allows users to create and share 15-second videos, on any sustainable development goals of Agenda 2030. It offers users a wide selection of sounds and song snippets, along with the option to add special effects and filters in order to share with users4friends and colleagues many SDGs challenges.

It is a social mobile app to engage individuals to contribute to a social cause thanks to digital asset rewarding system. Humbi is a social media platform for creating, sharing and discovering short videos related to sustainability. The aim is to create an ecosystem where people create challenge to sensitize audience about Sustainable Development Goals. This app will enable everyone to be a "sustainable Development Ambassador "and encourage users to contribute to a social issue through their videos.

Hourouf is an initiative aiming to encourage people to donate their books in order to distribute them to unprivileged communities in rural areas of the region.
This initiative is launched by the learning center of the university in collaboration with students from different schools. The students assists the center during the collection and distribution of books.

Name: Tizwa

Brief description: TIZWA is a smart hive that contains a small internet-connected sensor placed under the roof of the hive and measures a number of metrics including temperature, humidity, tracking the place of the hive. Data collected from the sensor is sent via the cloud, where the data is processed, analysed and then sent back to the beekeeper. Using our device, beekeeper are going to be able to keep many more hives and dramatically increase honey production with the same amount of spend on forage.

Name: Plant it Forward

Brief description: Planting Trees is one of the most effective ways to act towards climate change as it benefits our everyday lives efficiently. They filter clear air, help curb climate change, create safe nests for thousand of species of animals and protect the diversity of plants. Together, we will be planting olive trees to advocate for Agenda 2030, particularly, the SDG 15 : Life on land.

Plant it forward has allowed us to Offset CO2 emissions, provide wildlife habitats, support biodiversity, enhance the UM6P experimental Farm Landscape as well as restore the soil fertility.

Students, PhD students, professors and staff have all been mobilized this week to plant their trees alongside their friends, peers, and colleagues where they have pledged that they are effectively engaged in reducing their carbon footprint and acting towards the AGENDA 2030 at UM6P. For every olive tree that they pledged, Its dense and persistent foliage gives it a great capacity to absorb and store the carbon dioxide emissions with nearly 5kg Carbone/Year during the tree growth

Brief Description: Building Indoor Comfort at UM6P” is an initiative that has made it possible to measure physical values and understand the subjective perception of indoor air quality and thermal, acoustic and visual comfort, through calculations of comfort indices. suitable for the analysis of the interior environment of teaching buildings within the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University of Ben Guerir.

Brief Description: This project aims to creation a consulting firm for the construction and monitoring of buildings using the ''Building Information Modeling / BIM 6D'' which deals with all aspects of sustainable development of a building from the point of view of energy efficiency.

Brief Description: SpiderFarmer uses robotics for the benefit of agriculture. The team has an objective to build a robot that can perform soil sampling more efficiently and quickly.

Brief Description: “Earth Construction” Terra Jenna, Marrakech.

(From April 15 to 19, 2022), As part of their training course at the School of Architecture, Planning & Design, 3rd year students participated in an intensive workshop that is an integral part of their practical course "Earth Architecture Studio”. This practical educational activity, part of SAP+D's "Learning By Doing" strategy, aims to raise students' awareness of the importance of earth as an ancestral building material with great potential for the future of construction. . Supervised by renowned experts in the field, combining scientific and practical mastery of the earth material, such as Denis Coquard and Daniel Turquin, the students explored the different earth construction techniques. This activity thus contributes to the main mission of SAP+D to train a new generation of architects aware of the challenges of eco-responsible, sustainable and contextual architecture.

Brief decription: Within the framework of the UM6P SD Fund, the 2nd edition of Zero Waste Movement “Gourdes & Mugs“ has been launched on the 21st of February 2022 at UM6P. This edition has taken into consideration all UM6P community feedback and recommendations to the 1st one. This project aims to engage UM6P Community with its students, professors, researchers and administrative staff in joining the Zero Waste Movement and to offer UM6P community an affordable aesthetic solution instead of the single-use items and plastic bottles to stay hydrated and enjoy their tea or coffee with a sustainable touch.

To do this, Khdimaty formalizes market studies under form of playful micro-tasks intended for travelers and allowing them to generate profits. The answers to these micro-tasks are structured and analyzed to ensure businesses get relevant results that respond to their inquiries.
