Kean University has been named one of America’s best employers in New Jersey by Forbes and Statista. The university was ranked 34th out of 101 employers in the state. Forbes and Statista based their rankings on a survey of 2.1 million employees working for companies with more than 500 employees. The survey asked employees about their opinions on work-related topics such as working conditions, diversity, salary, potential for development, and company image. Kean University scored high in all of these categories. The university was praised for its commitment to diversity and inclusion, its competitive salaries, and its opportunities for professional development.

In addition, Kean University joined EAB’s Moonshot for Equity community to connect with an expansive network of like-minded universities committed to closing equity gaps. The Moonshot for Equity model includes student-centered strategies to identify and remove systemic barriers to success for our students. The 15 evidence-based best practices utilized by the Moonshot community fit seamlessly with our mission, vision, and a number of our existing initiatives. By coalescing around shared, data-driven goals, and collaborating around the hard work of transforming our systems, our community will work together to eliminate barriers to student success.
