All campus vending machines are equipped with Energy Misers which turn off lighting and reduce compressor energy. These machines have signage relating to their purpose and amount of energy saved.

HCC has a cooperative agreement with the city of Hibbing to allow students to ride the bus free with a student ID. HCC subsidizes these rides. There are brochures available to students explaining the transit process.
