Yes
A brief description of the policies and/or guidelines to improve outdoor air quality and minimize air pollutant emissions from mobile sources:
UC Sustainable Practices Policy contains a set of policies and best practices for improving air quality.
Has the institution completed an inventory of significant air emissions from stationary sources on campus?:
Yes
A brief description of the methodology(ies) the institution used to complete its air emissions inventory:
UCR reports to the Southern Coast Air Quality Management District and to the California Air Resources Board on all stationary and mobile emissions.
Weight of the following categories of air emissions from stationary sources::
Weight of Emissions | |
Nitrogen oxides (NOx) | 4.59 Metric tons |
Sulfur oxides (SOx) | 0.21 Metric tons |
Carbon monoxide (CO) | 12.67 Metric tons |
Particulate matter (PM) | 1.26 Metric tons |
Ozone (O3) | Metric tons |
Lead (Pb) | Metric tons |
Hazardous air pollutants (HAPs) | --- |
Ozone-depleting compounds (ODCs) | 2.86 Metric tons |
Other standard categories of air emissions identified in permits and/or regulations | --- |
A brief description of the institution’s initiatives to minimize air pollutant emissions from stationary sources, including efforts made during the previous three years:
