UCR installed a 500 kw solar pv carport in April 2014 and a 3.34 MW solar pv ground mount system in September 2014. UCR also has one 6kw mobile renewable energy generator and 13 1kw solar tables on campus.

We purchased REC for a LEED project to off-set two years of elecricity use for EAc6 Green Power. We purchased REC for a LEED project to off-set two years of electricity use for EAc6 Green Power; 19000 MMBTUs of biogas purchased to help stay under AB32 Cap and Trade requirements.
