DELI is a campus-wide Diversity Initiative focusing on education opportunities, leadership training and communications. The EVC/Provost charged the Committee with responsibility to develop and implement a comprehensive diversity education & training initiative to build institutional capacity to enhance diversity; offer skill-building and leadership development opportunities for faculty, staff and students; and create infrastructure supporting a long-term diversity strategy. The charge specifies three primary tasks: 1.Create a web-based clearinghouse to provide a single source access to all diversity resources on campus 2.Develop and implement a communications strategy to keep diversity and the campus’s efforts toward diversity in the public eye; and 3.Set parameters for the measure and assessment of success of diversity initiatives
