The office is primarily focused on students. Staff member is available to students, incorporates programming, and regularly participates in activities with students.

Students are required to complete a cultural competency requirement for graduation. Faculty are asked in their entrance interviews to detail their experience in these areas. There is no formal program for staff, but many take courses on campus within these topics.
