The Sustainability Manager presented at the Global Conference on Sustainability in Higher Education (GCSHE) in 2020 and 2021. In 2020, the on-demand presentation was entitled "We Need the Leaders to Make It Happen" and it shares experiences and resources on the annual Sustainability Leadership Workshop collaboration with Virginia Tech. In 2021, in collaboration with James Madison University, the presentation focused on the Virginia Sustainability in Higher Education network and provided insight on how anyone can develop a regional network of sustainability in higher education professionals.

A brief description of other inter-campus collaborative efforts around sustainability during the previous year :

- Several times over the last two years, Radford University sustainability staff, and students have met with our colleagues at Virginia Tech to learn from and share resources around sustainability planning, STARS, and food recovery operations. Virginia Tech shared their STARS inventories with RU, and provided guidance on best practices.
