A brief description of how sustainability is included prominently in new student orientation :

All students that are entering Radford University are invited to participate in an on-campus orientation program called Quest.

Quest Information Fairs: A Sustainability Office representative attends all Quest Information Fairs for students and their families. Here we have the opportunity to talk with all students about sustainability, our initiatives, and opportunities to get involved.

Quest Assistant Training: Quest Assistants teach all new students and their families about Radford University campus, culture, and programs. The Sustainability Office participates in the Quest Assistant training program and provides Quest Assistants pertinent sustainability information to provide to new students.

Most first year students enroll in the University 100 course. There is a Campus Sustainability module that their instructor can present.
