Dickinson’s Employee Wellness Program (Wellness@Dickinson), established in 2006, provides fitness, nutrition and wellbeing programs for all employees and their families. A variety of exercise classes are offered year-round and are promoted through annual fall and spring fitness challenges. Nutrition program sessions are offered throughout the year on a variety of topics. Preventive health programs for employees include biometric screenings, health risk assessments, access to EAP services and seasonal flu vaccinations. Incentives are provided to promote participation in the programs, which are made convenient for employees through a variety of scheduling options. Since the inception of our wellness initiative, Dickinson has been recognized as a Platinum-level Fit-Friendly Worksite from the American Heart Association. Additionally, in 2020, Aetna/CVS Health recognized Wellness@Dickinson as an Above & Beyond Workplace Well-being Silver. http://www.dickinson.edu/homepage/86/employee_wellness.
