In 2016, President Cassidy joined PA Governor Tom Wolf’s efforts in “It’s On Us” to end sexual assault through education and other prevention efforts.

President Kim Cassidy has signed on to "We are Still In" an open letter to the international community and parties to the Paris Agreement from U.S. state, local, and business leaders in opposition to the US retreat from the Paris Accord.
In addition, President Cassidy signed onto a Statement in Support of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) Program and our Undocumented Immigrant Students in November of 2017. Bryn Mawr also joined with the American Council on Education (ACE) in two open letters in Support of the BRIDGE Act and in response to the President's executive order “Protecting the Nation from Foreign Terrorist Entry into the United States.” President Cassidy also singed onto an open letter to President Trump from the Presidents of Liberal Arts Colleges and Universities in response to the travel ban. links to the letters are here:
