Criteria
An institution earns 1 bonus point when it is formally recognized as Certified B Corporation or social enterprise (as evidenced by recognition in a national or international social enterprise directory or equivalent).
Measurement
Report on the institution’s current status. The intent of this credit is to recognize private, for-profit institutions that have achieved B Corps status and other institutions that are explicitly operated as social enterprises (e.g., democratically managed educational cooperatives). Conventional public and private colleges and universities are unlikely to qualify.
