Does the institution host a peer-to-peer exchange program or lending library that is explicitly designed to ensure that students in financial need have access to required course material?:
Yes

Narrative and/or website URL providing an overview of the peer-to-peer course materials exchange program or lending library:

Even better than an exchange or lending library, the Amherst College Textbook Solution (ACTS) provides all enrolled students with the necessary textbooks and course materials required for classes at no added cost to the student. The cost of course materials is included in the comprehensive fee, ensuring that the cost of course materials is never a barrier to taking a class. Every student in a class will receive the same course materials, in the same edition and format, by the first day of classes.

Does the institution provide incentives for academic employees that explicitly encourage the authorship, peer review, and/or adoption of open educational resources?:
No

Narrative and/or website URL that provides an overview of the institution’s incentives for open educational resources:

Although not necessarily an incentive:

Amherst uses Moodle as its course management platform. Moodle provides a means for course instructors to distribute and share course materials (e.g., papers, texts, assignments, readers) digitally with students in the class. The site and materials are accessible to all enrolled students.
