The Ohio Woodland Stewards Program offers classes, professional workshops, and publications related to the forests of Ohio, wildlife management, and water. The Program also hosts the annual Ohio Woodlands and Water Conference.

The Outdoor Adventure Club is a group of students interested in outdoor recreation and exploration activities. We create opportunities for our members to appreciate the great outdoors and its many wonders. We organize hiking and biking trips to explore and enjoy the many local, regional, and national parks and trails as well as canoe/kayak floats to many of our scenic lakes and rivers. All of our activities of the Outdoor Adventure Club follow the “Leave No Trace” principles.

The Ohio State University chose "The Other Wes Moore" by Wes Moore as their Common Book for 2016. All incoming freshmen on all Ohio State campuses read the same book over summer 2016, as part of the First Year Experience and to create a sense of unity and mutual learning among Ohio State entities statewide.In 2015, The book was "The Good Food Revolution" by Will Allen.
