Good Stuff

A brief description of the campaign:

The Good Stuff campaign is SNHU's move out program, where items students don't want when they leave are collected and donated to local non-profits. It involved many students and some employees to help collect, sort, and deliver the donations.

3.2 tons of items were donated with the last Good Stuff campaign, diverting it from a landfill.

Surplus Program Launch

A brief description of the campaign (2nd campaign):

We have begun a 'freecycle' program, in which there are bookshelves placed in the residence halls where anyone can drop off unwanted items, and anyone can come through and take anything they want.


A brief description of the measured positive impact(s) of the campaign (2nd campaign):

Items left at the freecycle stations are diverted from a landfill, and by providing items to students they don't have to go buy them. This preserves resources and saves the students time, money, and potentially prevents emissions from travel if the students don't have to leave campus to shop.
