Seneca works with Smart Commute to gather transportation data for students and employees on campus. An electronic survey was conducted by Smart Commute in April 2018. The survey link was sent via email to 6057 employees, 25,898 daytime full-time and part-time students, 676 ConEd students. There were 2069 responses, which gave the survey a return rate of 6%. 63% of the responses were from students and 37% were from employees. The goal was a return rate of 5%, with a 95% confidence level and a 5% margin of error.successfully.
