This website was developed by faculty and staff as a location to include data about the STARS research as well as a place to showcase the research the faculty that is centered around sustainability. The current section of the website is under the About Us section of the Maryville College website and it's a Content Management System (CMS) that allows a primary faculty member to edit and post information which is reviewed by the web manager of the institution. Currently this section of the website has two editor, Associate Professor of Art/Graphic and Sustainable Design and Dr. Mark J. O'Gorman, Associate Professor of Political Science and Coordinator of the Environmental Studies Program at Maryville College.

All students at the College complete a two semester senior study/thesis. The best senior studies (including those on sustainability as well as other topics) are selected for special honors and are posted in electronic form on the College's website and are also included as a permanent record in print in the Lamar Memorial Library at Maryville College.

Signage outside Crawford House describes its in-progress LEED certification process, and its ongoing recycling efforts. MC's participation in the TVA Green Power Switch program, where customers provide additional funds on their electic bill to exclusively support renewable energy projects for the TVA grid, is publicly shown with campus signs and a plaque of participation. Signage in the main dining hall indicates if a food is from a local and/or organic farm or vendor and a map is usually included as to where the farm is within the 100-mile radius of East Tennessee. The dining services also has a section of their website that is devoted to sustainable food system information that is accessible to all students.

The Highland Echo, MC's student newspaper, has a reporter assignment to both campus environmental issues and social justice, including the impact of local ecological, economic and/or social justice on the community. The associated link shows news coverage by the Echo of a campus recycling issue reporting in Fall 2011. Links on that page permit investigation of other Echo stories, including work of a recent Echo "green" beat reporter, Karen Leu
