Data source(s) and notes about the submission:

These numbers were compiled from various sources and departments on campus engaged in community service.

Sustain Coastal and Student Life started tracking community service hours, which is why they are reporting SP 22 and FA 22. Greek Life and Dean of Students report using academic year. The totals provided for each are representative, though, of the year. Attached is documentation that shows how these community service hours were calculated.

UNIV 110 is First Year Experience - a course taken primarily in fall by Freshmen. UNIV 110C is a section of that class where students are required to complete at least 4 hours of community service as part of the class. In Fall 2022, approximately 400 students were enrolled in UNIV 110C. Some of the students participate in Sustain Coastal and Student Life fall activities. To avoid double counting for UNIV 110C, 150 students were subtracted from the total number of students to give a total of 250 students.
