BHSU has submitted abstracts to present at the annual AASHE conference.

BHSU is an active member of AASHE, the Association of Higher Education Facilities Officers (APPA), and the American College and University Presidential Climate Commitment (ACUPCC). BHSU President Kay Schallenkamp serves on the Board of the ACUPCC.


A brief summary of additional ways the institution collaborates with other campuses to advance sustainability :

BHSU participated for the first time in 2014 for the Recycle Mania ReGames competition against other Universities across the country. We plan to grow our participation in this program each year.
