STUDENTS
The University's Center for Well-Being is an integrated health and well-being center that offers health services; counseling and psychological services; and health promotion, resilience and violence prevention services. The integrated care model allows partner areas to work together in a coordinated way, to serve students and the University community more efficiently from one location. The Center for Well-Being provides compassionate care, expertise and resources to help members of our community thrive in and out of the classroom.

Health Promotion focuses on developing the whole person by offering programs, resources, and educational material on resilience, health promotion and disease prevention. Outreach programs address sleep, sexual health, physical activity, nutrition, mental well-being, and other topics. Programs also address stress management techniques, relaxation techniques, meditation, yoga and more.

EMPLOYEES
The University of St. Thomas offers a variety of counseling, referral, and wellbeing services to employees through the following programs:

- For staff and faculty on UnitedHealthcare, Rally is a wellness program designed to help employees achieve their health goals where they may earn Rally Coins that can be used for a chance to win rewards.

- In addition to our health insurance coverage through United Healthcare, we also offer an Employee Assistance Program administered through ComPsych. This EAP gives employees access to hundreds of personal health topic and resources for childcare, elder care, attorneys or financial planners.

- The Anderson Athletic and Recreation Complex (AARC) is free for full-time and part-time faculty and staff.

- The Leadership Academy's Well-Being Series provides professional development sessions on Health and Wellness topics. Recorded sessions can be viewed through the Leadership Academy platform. Sessions include topics such as relaxation for the holidays and new year, mental health, and how to handle fatigue and burnout.

The University has a Tobacco-Free and Smoke-Free Campus Policy, which states:
St. Thomas prohibits the use, distribution, advertisement, promotion, marketing and sale of tobacco and smoking/vaping products, including cannabis products, and tobacco- and smoking/vaping-related merchandise (including logo-containing items) at all St. Thomas-sponsored events and in and on all St. Thomas property, other than the exempted residences, and regardless of the operating vendor.
