A brief description of the institution’s programs that help increase the diversity of higher education faculty:
Strategic Hiring Fund: when Deans identify potential candidates, these funds can be used in the recruitment of candidates; Maintenance Incentive Fund: If a department hires a diverse candidate with one of their regular lines, a dollar amount is added to the department’s maintenance account while that faculty member is employed at the university.
