Through the RIT & Rochester Regional Heath (RRH) Alliance, RIT has been working with RRH to identify opportunities to advance sustainability efforts at the hospitals and medicals centers within RRH.

RIT is founding member of the Rochester Sustainability Collaborative. The Rochester Sustainability Collaborative (RSC) is a dynamic network of businesses, educational institutions, governments, and community entities. We work together to advance sustainable practices in our organizations with the greater aim of building a healthy, resilient and thriving Greater Rochester Community.

RIT is also actively involved in the City of Rochester's climate action planning and climate vulnerability assessment.
