A brief description of the sustainable investment policy:
The OSU Foundation does not have a formal written policy mandating the consideration of social and/or environmental impacts on investment strategy. However, such impacts and investment exposures are reviewed by the Foundation’s Investment Committee (a subcommittee of its Board of Trustees) and are a factor in the selection of fund managers.
In 2010, socially responsible investing factors were among the criteria used in 2010 when the Foundation selected a new investment consulting firm.
