A brief description of the child care program, policy, or practice:

Oregon State University recognizes the importance of quality childcare information and services for university-associated families. Information about on-campus and off-campus child care options and student parent subsidies can be obtained at the OSU Child Care Web site.

Three child care centers currently operate at Oregon State University.

- Growing Oaks Child Development Center with 52 spaces for infants through age five.
- Beaver Beginnings with 148 full-time spaces (for infants through Kindergarten).
- Our Little Village has two locations. One in The Valley Library and one in Dixon Recreation Center. They are short term drop-off childcare centers for students only. The center cares for children ages 6 months to 10 years while parents are in the library or working out. This centers are typically open Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 2:30 p.m.–11 p.m., Saturdays noon–10 p.m., and Sundays 10 a.m.–10 p.m.-
