On July 1st, 2022, Duquesne affirmed its commitment to sustainability by ratifying the University Sustainability Committee (USC), whose charge is to support, grow, and promote the University’s efforts to build a sustainable campus. This committee—an assembly of faculty, staff, and students across the University—will foster opportunities for multidisciplinary engagement across academic units, facilities, and university leadership; and identify new opportunities for curricular and infrastructural resiliency.

With a One-Year MBA, you have the flexibility to pursue a variety of business management roles, including ones affiliated with sustainability-focused organizations, initiatives or products. Our graduates go on to hold leadership offices with nationally and globally recognized organizations like Deloitte, FedEx Ground, Herman Miller and U.S. Steel.

Sustainability Through Dining

A brief description of the third program/initiative/accomplishment:

Duquesne University is proud to partner with Parkhurst Dining to provide a sustainable dining service. Duquesne's primary dining hall, Hogan Hall, composts 100% of pre and post-consumer materials. Duquesne's catering services composts all pre-consumer materials. Dining Services also works hard to provide vegan and vegetarian options and locally sourced products.
