A brief description of the minimum total compensation provided to the institution’s lowest paid employee or pay grade, including any in-kind benefits included as part of the total compensation figure :
Regular, full-time employees – all regular full time employees receive full benefits, including medical/dental insurance, paid time-off (vacation, sick, holidays), retirement plan contributions, among other things. There are 91.5% of staff, including part-time employees, that are covered by a living wage standard (based on 2 adults and 2 children as of FY16) of $16.35 per hour minimum. 100% of staff, including part-time employees, are covered by a living wage standard based on 1 adult (as of FY16) of $10.67. Faculty are not covered by a living wage standard, but are paid market rate wages. However, since faculty generally have a minimum of Masters or Doctoral/Professional degrees, their prevailing market wages are considerably above the living wage standard we have for staff employees.
The compensation for the lowest paid regular employee/pay-grade plus benefits is $31,776 which is 46.7% of Living Wage based on 2 adults/2 children and 141% of Living Wage based on 1 adult.
