1. Green Building Technical Professional: Develop the skills needed to identify green building technologies that provide the most value to a construction project;
2. Welding for Work STICK, MIG & TIG: Identified as a Green Job in preparing material and performing fillet and grove, flat, horizontal and vertical fillets welds using green products to enhance performance and sustainability.
3. HVACR Entry Level Technician: Develop the skills to implement efficiencies in heating and cooling equipment in residential and commercial properties.
4. Go Solar: Maryland Energy Sector Partnership Grant in partnership with Anne Arundel County Workforce Investment Board, Independent Electrical Contractors. For those entering the solar Photovoltaic (PV) industry interested in developing basic skills and understanding of electrical and mechanical solar PV array design components, safety information and the option of taking NABCEP;s Entry Level Certificate of Knowledge of Solar PV Systems.
