A brief description of the institution’s wellness and/or employee assistance program(s):
All employees have free membership to the on-campus sports facilities. Through the hire of a new health educator, Wellesley College plans to nurture a culture of health on campus. Wellesley also provides free, confidential resources that employees can refer to for advice on physical as well as mental health. Wellesley partners with its health insurance plan to provide workshops on exercise, nutrition and stress management.
The Healthy You Program includes incentives plus a variety of events, programs and online resources to help you get and stay healthy. Programs include walking challenges, reimbursement for weight loss programs, webinars and presentation.
