A brief description of the institution's green laboratory program:

The safe chemical use and disposal by laboratory personnel is required through the University's Chemical Hygiene Plan (CHP) and implemented and enforced by the Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) department. The recycling of
some hazardous materials and other universal waste streams is implemented and managed by the Environmental Protection Section.

Energy program discusses efficiency in labs and fume hoods.
