As part of Loyola's York Road Initiative, a place-based community partnership focused on the educational development, health, and well-being of community residents, we work with residents to develop sustainable models for food access, security, and disposal in the Govans area. This partnership includes a Govanstowne Farmer's Market hosted on campus, a Govans Community Fridge, and a community compost drop-off site.
