A brief description of the event(s):
At least one sustainability themed campus event is planned for each semester. Past events include a concert in conjunction with the Campus Consciousness tour, a campus-wide forum on energy use, a visit from author Doug Fine, and a teach-in focused on the BP Gulf oil disaster. Upcoming events for Fall 2011 include a visit from climatologists Michael Mann and Ottmar Edenhofer and food security expert Vandana Shiva.
