Managed grounds comprise less than one percent of the total campus area.
MGH Institute of Health Professions' campus is mixed within the City of Boston. Only one out of the seven buildings MGH IHP occupies is owned by the Institute. The only landscaping maintained by the IHP are gardens in the back of Building 36 (approximately 1200 square feet) and two beds on the Terry Ring Way side (combined 256 square feet).
All sidewalks and other landscaping surrounding the Institute are owned and operated by the City of Boston or by owners of leased buildings.
