A brief description of the institution’s community garden:
A significant amount of the food harvested is donated to the nearby Lumpkin High School.
UNG has also recently added a community vegetable garden to the Oconee campus which supplements the on-campus food pantry and acts as an educational gardening tool (see notes for link with more info).
