Our workplace health and safety target is that each worker comes to work uninjured and leaves uninjured. A Workplace Safety Department (WSD) oversees the environmental health and safety program (including workers compensation and insurance coverage) and collaborates with Departments on emergency response, procedures, and training. First Aid/CPR training is provided by WSD and required of Campus Security, Athletic Coaches, and Resident Counselors. Monthly training is provided by a Safety Trainer, and inspection/reporting of all incidents is completed according to strict protocols. Health or Injury Emergency Response Guidelines are posted online.
