A brief description of the institution’s green event certification program:
Events can have a large environmental impact, so the Office of Sustainability is encourages the community to make events more sustainable through considering factors such as waste management, accessibility and reducing or eliminating their carbon footprint. All factors and considerations are included as questions in the scorecard for Sustainable Events Certification.
