A brief description of the employee educators program (1st program):
"The SDGs in the Classroom Toolkit enables the pan-university interdisciplinary infusion of the SDGs into classrooms at York University which reinforces the commitment to make positive change for students, campuses, and our local and global communities. The toolkit provides instructors with academic information, practical materials, and examples along with tools and resources to assist them with infusing the SDGs into their classrooms. There are three trained education leaders who are responsible for hosting faculty workships, conference presentations, community of practice meetings, and a SDG Teach-in event to train instructors on how to infuse SDGs into their classroom and use the Toolkit.
The SDGs-in-the Classroom Community of Practice (CoP) at York is created with a vision to track, weave, amplify and inspire the infusion of the SDGs into the curriculum. It is for York faculty and instructors who are involved or interested in infusing the SDGs into the curriculum across the campus. The CoP group members, known as SDG Curricular Champions, support and mentor other faculty in the university to understand the latest pedagogical thinking on how to integrate SDGs into learning and teaching activities.. There are currently 75 CoP members. The Community of Practice has recorded 8 Curricular Champion videos which can be found here: https://www.yorku.ca/unsdgs/toolkit/the-sdgs-in-the-classroom-community-of-practice-york-university/curriculum-champions-of-the-sdgs-at-yorku/"
