A brief description of the methodology used to complete the course inventory :
The course inventory was developed by using a keyword search that mapped York University's course offerings with SDGS. It was refined further by manually scanning course offerings and course descriptions using the online course listings. The SDG mappings were used to determine if a course was a sustainability focused course, or included sustainability. Courses that were tagged to SDG 12-15, 7, 6 were categorized as sustainability-focused primarily because of their ecological focus. Courses that were tagged to SDG 1-5,8-11,and 6 were categorized as sustainability inclusive.
How were courses with multiple offerings or sections counted for the figures reported above?:
Each course was counted as a single course regardless of the number of offerings or sections
