Data source(s) and notes about the submission:
York’s Printing Services is the first Canadian University In-plant printer to become Forest Stewardship Council (FSC)-certified, promoting responsible management of the world’s forests. We are leading the sustainability challenges of the future. The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) is an independent, non-governmental and not-for-profit organization that promotes the responsible management of the world’s forests. Products carrying the FSC logo are independently certified through a third party vendor audit and all documentation must be in order to assure the customer that they come from managed forests that meet the social, ecological and economic requirements of present and future generations. The FSC certification means that York community members can now choose to lighten their ecological footprint by selecting FSC-certified paper for their printing needs.
