York University Indoor Air Quality Program is designed to comply with legislated requirements and the Ontario Ministry of Labour guidelines for indoor air quality. Three parameters are controlled in order to be compliant with Ministry of Labour guidelines: Temperature, Relative Humidity, and Carbon dioxide. In the event of indoor air quality concerns, Campus Services and Business Operations are contacted to repair the problem, and if the problem is unknown, then the Department of Occupational Health and Safety are contacted to conduct an investigation.
