A brief description of the assessment(s):
Each of our various schools are meeting this criteria: 1. Yeshiva University participated in the ModernThink Higher Education Insight Survey in 2010. http://www.modernthink.com/mtweb/page.html?code=surveys 2. The Survey included diversity questions related to job satisfaction, fairness, respect and appreciation. 3. Results were used to identify aspects of the Faculty and Staff experience with the University that could be improved through changes in policies, practices and the implementation of awareness and developmental programs. 4. In March 2014, Yeshiva University will be participating in another ModernThink Higher Education Insight Survey. 5. The Einstein survey of diversity was completed in 2012. http://www.einstein.yu.edu/docs/education/md-program/diversity/FY12-annual-report.pdf 6. The annual “Cardozo Student Survey” surveys law students and includes questions on a wide variety of areas affecting student academic and social life. In addition to particularly relevant questions, data is analyzed according to ethnicity, sexual orientation, number of years between college and law school, and so on. This helps inform programs to meet the diverse needs of our students. 7. Our undergraduate office for International students provides demographic information that is used to create appropriate coursework, ESL, programs. There are bi-annual meetings with the Dean of Students and the International student community to further evaluate their needs. 8. Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology reports on an annual basis to the American Psychological Association on a whole range of issues involving multicultural and diversity issues. We have maintained our goals and targets with our accrediting body regarding all of these issues.
