Does the institution use weather data or weather sensors to automatically adjust irrigation practices?:
Yes
None
A brief description of how weather data or sensors are used:
At Einstein, the sensors are stationed outside one on the north campus one on the south campus. When the sensor is wet by constant rain it sends a signal to the irrigation control box letting it know it doesn't have to start it's watering cycle due to rain. It then skips the cycle for the day and resets for the next scheduled watering day.
