Has the institution implemented a campus-wide inventory system to facilitate the reuse of laboratory chemicals?:
Yes

A brief description of the program:

Whenever there are surplus chemicals or laboratory supplies, Environmental Health and Safety asks the administrator of the department to notify all laboratories within the department. Once departmental laboratories have been notified and have had time to remove the surplus they may need, other laboratories outside the department are notified by Environmental Health and Safety to come to the location and remove any remaining surplus in which they are interested. This process usually results in a significant reduction in the amount of chemicals that are sent for disposal off campus.
