A brief description of programs, policies, infrastructure investments, outreach efforts, and/or other factors that contributed to the diversion rate:
Our recycling program requires recycling bins be available on every floor of every building.
Annually, Yeshiva University participates in Recyclemania, a university recycling competition. This includes a number of outreach efforts to encourage recycling on-campus. During this 2 month competition, we provide additional training to housekeeping staff to remind them of what is recyclable in NYC.
