Sustainability focused courses concentrate on the connection between social, economic and environmental dimensions. These courses look to engage students on meeting the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their needs by emphasizing the limitations of natural capital and the interconnectedness of systems.
Sustainability related courses cover one or more of the sustainability components within the course. These topics include, but are not limited to, economic development, public health, social justice & ethics, energy, water, and environmental law, science and policy.

Department Chairs and faculty were emailed to list all courses that apply to the sustainability definitions documenting the data in an excel document further going through registrar of courses to determine if other courses could apply.
