The Eco Representatives Program is a paid environmental leadership program for Yeshiva Undergraduates that focuses on raising awareness of environmental issues and impacting student behavior. Selected students are educated on environmental issues and asked to implement small scale sustainability awareness projects in the dorms. Such individual projects include sustainability focused movie viewings, cell phone recycling competition, floor by floor recycling competitions, and farmers market healthy and sustainable food awareness and cooking.

Applications and resumes are required of those interested in a position. The program is very competitive and positions are given to those most interested and qualified for the program.

The Eco Reps are given manuals and have bi-weekly meetings regarding various areas of sustainability and how it applies to Yeshiva University. Homework assignments are directly related to the campus and these areas of learning.
