The Sustainability Advisory Council is a group of institutional leaders, alumni, and students tasked with offering guidance and inspiration on Yale’s Sustainability Plan. This group meets several times a year and receive regular updates from the Office of Sustainability.

Established in 2005, the Office of Sustainability’s mission is to advance sustainability within the Yale community by acting as a catalyst for information exchange and facilitating capacity building, innovation, streamlined operations, and preparation of tomorrow’s sustainability leaders.

Each of the employees of the Yale Office of Sustainability is responsible for different aspects of campus sustainability coordination. The employees work to support the university's Sustainability Strategic Plan.
