A brief description of the employee educators program (1st program):

Sustainability Leaders are a group of Yale staff members interested in sustainability. Sustainability Leaders attend monthly training sessions hosted by the Office of Sustainability featuring a speaker and dialogue around various topics. Leaders are represented in over 150 departments within the university, and are encouraged to engage with those in their department about sustainable best practices. Leaders also receive the Office of Sustainability's electronic monthly outreach campaigns, which they then share with their units and departments more broadly.

Sustainability Leaders often form Green Teams in their departments and work together to implement projects for a more sustainable work community. For example, the Green Team in Human Resources is working on converting their kitchen to utilize reusable dishware. Projects often vary depending on the needs of the department.
