Staff eco-reps (sustainability ambassadors) become experts in their buildings or departments. They are available to answer questions and also run programs to improve conservation, efficiency, or recycling efforts.

Staff eco-reps are volunteers who commit to 5-10 hours of effort in sustainability per month

Training is provided by Waste Management, Facilities Department, and Sustainability Office

The Healthy Herd is a group of staff who work to educate employers about healthy lifestyle, including diet, exercise, and wellness, as well as financial literacy topics. Examples include several cooking classes, exercise boot camp, and personal lifestyle consultants.

They are volunteers and are experienced in the field of their interest (dietician, personal trainer, health care practitioner)

They all have had formal education in their fields

Additional Programs

Nutrition seminars provided by the Nutritionist in Dining Services. She is educated in her field and provides seminars on healthy and sustainable food choices to all staff and students. Gordon Library created a Reflection Space in the library to allow community members to meditate, pray, or simply rest in a quiet space on Wednesdays.
