The institute complies with the statute of the state of Massachusetts preventing any vehicle from idling for more than 5 minutes. Also the institute became a smoke-free campus in 2015.

A brief description of the methodology(ies) the institution used to complete its air emissions inventory:
We are continually working to reduce our energy consumption, which will also help reduce our air emissions. We have switched completely from oil consumption to natural gas. The state of Massachusetts requires institutions to report Scope 1 emissions; our emissions are calculated by a third party, Tighe and Bond.
